Want to provide women centred care?
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced midwives who wish to develop and broaden their knowledge and skills. You will enjoy providing woman centred care as a vital part of a truly multidisciplinary team. You will gain valuable experience in conditions outlined below as well as gaining experience in team midwifery with support from all disciplines in decision making. You will have an opportunity to utilise all of your midwifery skills in antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care including community visits.
There are two high risk hospital based teams called Thames and Tower and these teams consist of six midwives including a Midwifery Practice Leader for each.
THAMES provide care for women with
* SLE/APS,
* Maternal Cardiac disease,
* Pre-existing and gestational diabetes
There will also be the opportunity to be involved in the development and implementation of new and exciting initiatives such as pre-conception and obesity projects.
