Creating a world-leading Academic Health Sciences Centre Guy's and St Thomas' is one of the largest hospital trusts in the country, with a staff of over 10,000, a turnover of over £800m and a million patient contacts a year.

If you have been qualified for six months or more and want to work in a specialty new to you or where you have some previous experience, the Trust Bank can offer a wide range of experience before you make a commitment to a permanent post.

Working via the bank provides a flexible and structured method of returning to nursing following a break or adaptation course allowing more time for you to make a decision about which area or Directorate is right for you.

If you are keen to work in a particular area which has no vacancies, the Bank may be able to offer you the opportunity to work in that area to cover sickness or maternity leave and allow you to gain experience which would stand you in good stead to apply for posts in the future.

Bank work allows you the freedom to work either in a supervised capacity or for more experienced Nurses there is sometimes the opportunity to take charge of a ward if you have the right qualifications or experience.

Person Specification

1. You must be an UK/EU nationals or have the right to live and work in the UK.

2. You need to have full NMC registration and at least 6 months post qualifying experience.
