Pulse International is looking for Western-trained Charge Nurses for the General Units and Theatres of a superb hospital in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates.

'Healing Oasis' is the theme of the hospital, which aims to combine the friendliness of an oasis village with a state-of-the-art medical service.

Al Ain is close to the border of Oman, approximately halfway between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and is known as the 'Garden City' of the Persian Gulf.

At present the hospital has 412 acute-care beds and is the Accident & Emergency referral centre for the region. The new hospital - due for completion in 2013 - will have 688 beds. It will be the Regional Centre for Rehabilitation with the first stroke unit in the UAE. It will be a Centre of Excellence for Trauma, Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, a research centre and teaching hospital, affiliated to the United Arab Emirates University.

The successful candidates will be Registered Nurses with at least two years post-registration experience and experience in the appropriate specialty.
